OUR STORY

The Eoin Henry Foundation

At 21.23 on 14 May 2017 our lives changed forever. Our beautiful boy lost his battle to stay on this earth, kissed his mother, told her he loved her and left us.

Our world from that point is now a very different one, empty, meaningless and filled with a sense of complete failure, a failure to succeed in keeping our son alive to live his life and flourish into what we know he would’ve been a fantastic husband and father. We miss his help, his love, his wit and his presence in the house. An average boy who loved and embraced life to the absolute full, in his short 20 years most people couldn’t fit in what he done into 40 years, carried on running the roads, clubbing, going through cars like they were disposable but at the back end of him he loved myself and his mother deeply and showed it everyday.

We miss him so very much so much so we thrive on keeping his name alive by maintaining the foundation. Never did I imagine that our son would touch so many people and inturn help so many people and with that I know he helps me everyday with everything we do.

Eoin you are the hero of the Eoin Henry Foundation and for that I salute you son. An absolute legend. Your mum and me love you so so much and you are talked about every single day. Thankyou for giving us 20 years of you.

Rest in peace our Angel
